Fatma Al Badwawi is specialized in the field of human rights. She held the position of Head of the Human Rights Office in the Judicial Department, and gained extensive practical experience in the field of human rights empowerment in the country, due to her management of many important files in this field, and her work in various committees concerned with human rights, including the Labor Awareness Committee, and she is a former member of the executive regulations of the Child Rights Law "Wadeema".

Al Badwawi holds a BA in Public Law from the University of Sharjah, and a higher diploma in human rights, and she has three professional diplomas in human rights on her record. She was awarded the Excellence Award in recognition of her role and efforts in the field of human rights.
